All the characters were the scammer. We've heard this crap before from them many a time. They hate being put one over on, so will come out with all the "I knew all along" BS as a way to attempt to have the last word. In reality he got screwed and it pisses him off. His ego won't let him admit that tho.

The scammer doesn't care. They know they're untouchable. The best you can expect after that is that they say a few cuss words and put you on ignore. But this gives me an idea. I think in the next book I'll cover all the most common misconceptions people have about the scammers in one of the chapters.

Actually, because this scammer is in Ghana, chuck might have scored a hit. The Ghana government is taking great pains to put an end to scamming, making the little sakawa boys a bit more nervous than Nigerians.

But not the FBI. Threaten them with the EFCC if you're going to, as they have jurisdiction in West Africa. And then they seem to only do anything if there's a TV crew with them. Maybe tell him your brother works for a news station in America and has been working in conjunction with the EFCC on his case
