hi everyone,
I recently joined a dating website..had been on one a couple of years ago but had no luck findin love but decided to give it another go..i am a very paranoid person and i dont thrust ppl i dont know, this is probably why i dont have a girlfriend ..so after 1 week on this dating site i got a message, i was suspicious straight away, very bad grammer,message didnt make much sense, she wanted me to email her so she could tell me something amazin..i googled her email and low and behold i found the same message on lots of other sites (i was heartbroken ) but by googling her email it lead me to this site..i never new there was a site like this , i think it is brillant , to whoever set it up u are a hero in my eyes!

i use to get angry when i heard about people getting scammed, angry at the scammer and angry at the victim for being so stupid( to falling for it but after spending hours reading through these forums i see how easily anyone can be fooled including me ..when ur in love with someone ur heart over rules your head , i learned this for my first girlfriend so the same can happen if ur in love with someone over the internet.

i dont think these victims are stupid anymore just genuine people lookin for love and happiness who get preyed on by these scumbags.my heart goes out to anyone who has been scammed and is still hurtin. i actually hope i get more messages from scammers( hope i get some from genuine ppl too ) so i can give their details to this site and stop them from hurting other ppl...thank you for a great site and changing my views for the better..

Having recently "put myself out there" on the international dating site: thaikisses.com, I had a message from none other than the (now I know she is) infamous Zhalya Gadzhieva...

There were several things "she" said and did in the second message she wrote me which made me smell a rat... So initially I did an email address trace which lead me to a Facebook account so at that point I assumed she was legit and wrote her back.

On the third message she wrote me I got a little more suspicious and google searched her name which led me here to this site... For which I'm very grateful I found and so thanks... I'm going to make a donation to the site when I've finished this post...

Good stuff westozguy. Regretably there is a lot of riff-raff out there in internet dating land. But you know what to look out for and that will place you in good form not to get pinged. There is a wealth of information within the forums that is growing each day. I too have put myself out there but sometimes wonder why bother. But having said that, there are some really good people out there.

Hello, I was just writing this in another post, and then I found this thread and thought this belongs here:

I must say you wonderful people here on RS truly amaze me. Some of you wrote that you are no therapists, but in my opinion you all prove over and over againg that you have such grand insights and really know how to support an help people posting on your forum looking for help and support. I have never seen anything like it. You all give so much of yourselves, and there is no doubt you all are such loving and caring persons. I feel out of words to tell you how much you amaze me. I am so thankful to have found you and your site. It is like your warm and caring energy is flowing through the whole site. I feel such gratitude towards you, and I wish I could give you something good in return.

Well, you just did. We do what we do because it feels good - especially when people like you make it worth the effort. You can do more though. It won't be long before someone new will step into the shoes you're outgrowing here. You can lend your experience and advice. If it were just us mods, people wouldn't take us seriously. YOU add credibility to what we teach here.

Besides, some of us (maybe I should speak for myself here) are just plain ornery to liars and thieves and one of the perks of this job is abusing them and interrupting their cash flow while we're at it.
