Nigerian recently used the following:
HeartWorld20@ talkmatch. com (match.com)
Name used: John Smith
He claimed to be 49 years old
used heart2heart200966 IM and @yahoo.com email address
then said his ID must have got hacked and changed his email and yahoo IM id's to hearts2heart200966 @yahoo.com (notice the additional letter s in this id)
Conversations followed this pattern: He was from UK, living in Banner ILL. for 1yr, had 17 yr old daugther and dog, plenty of pics (uploaded)
Wife died 6 yrs prior, mother/father died in plane crash 25 yrs prior, home schooled daughter, owned a road/bridge contracting Co. had 30 people working for him, was waiting to here on a $2.3M International contract, got the contract, flew to UK for 2 days, then was to fly to Africa on 10/30/2009 for his 3 week contract. I made him believe I purchase items he requested help with (laptop for him and PS3 player and games for his daughter) so he would provide me an address (below).
I played his game, I made him believe I was mailing merchandise to him, and once I got his address... I told him I knew what he was. I did it quick&fast, and very much like a smartass so I would make him mad... and guess
what, I did. He tried to act hurt at first but I kept at him, he was playing my game now, I told him how fun he had made this for me and I was not sending squat to freaken Nigeria. My phone began ringing and I laughed at him through IM, and told him good bye my sweet prince. He immediately tried to begin a conversation about how I found out. OMG..I laughed again, realizing now they what to learn from me.

The Nigerian's are ruthless, disgusting scam artists, I found this out by one incounter and surfing the net for more info. They prey on you like vultures. Can and will be availabe to you night and day if they think it's needed to win your heart.
You are his princess, his queen, he might even have you talk with others on the phone to help his story become alive for you. He is rich, very rich... but Oh don't tell anyone because they will be jelious, your friends will wish the shoe was on the other foot and try to make decisions for you. Their emails are poetry, their phone conversations are short (unless it's your dime), and their IM's turn into nothing but begging chatter.
Be guarded or show restraint, then you have hurt him, and he starts begging for your faith. He has had a tragic life (haven't we all) and he will swear to God he is not there to play, he will be insulted if you think that, he is there for a long term relationship and is going to make you his wife soon, very soon....

I know my scammer by "Maxwell Xavi Antonio." He is VERY handsome and charming. Born in Cuba, he has lived all over the world, but "lives" in Mexico City and recently won a contract to build a custom home in Jos, Nigeria.

Same story........he found my profile on Match.com, he contacts me, "falls in love" in about 2 weeks, has a crisis - can't get his shipping materials he needs to continue the contract because he is low on funds - hates to ask me but he has no one else to turn to – “his daughter is hungry and he can’t watch her starve.” He needs me to send money via Western Union. He is quick to find a Western Union location close to my home and is insistent that he needs the MTCN # (the control # to pick up the money) ASAP. He gives me explicit instructions on how to send the money even though "he has never done this before."

He is an only child whose parents have passed away. He has no friends to turn to in Mexico City or anywhere else. He can't go the Embassy because he is not an American citizen (Cuban) and the church he often speaks about cannot help him. He claims to be a man of God and next to his daughter, his faith is also the most important thing in his life.

He travels with his 17-year-old daughter Trish. I have spoken with "her" on the phone. I have come across other posts on different websites and his daughter is also referred to as Mary. He is a widower (though he never tells me how his late wife died, it is too painful). With me, his late wife's name was Lisa. Again, through other posts I have discovered, he uses the names - Mina, Tina and Nina as her name with other victims.

I Googled his phone # (0112347056973889) and opened up Pandora's Box. He has used several other names - Peter John Frank, Dominic Martins, Michael Domonic Martins, Tom Wilmax, Maxwell Lucado, Michael Fred, Fred Mike Dominic and who knows how many others.

The e-mail address he gave me to communicate with him is mahearts48@yahoo.com. If you do any research on this guy, you will find numerous others. We started using Yahoo Messenger almost immediately after “meeting.” He also asks if you have a webcam but gives an excuse why he doesn’t. Someone has already posted information about him (of course with a different name) on RomanceScams.com and I have been in contact with her. As a victim herself, she has been very supportive and is partly responsible for pushing me to share my story.

We sent each other hundreds of e-mails and love poems. We talked on the phone almost daily, sometimes several times. He would be unavailable on at least one day of the weekend. Proclamations of his undying love and plans to spend our lives together were the main topic of our discussions. Of course when he is confronted with all the information you have discovered, he screams “identity theft.” He is so insulted. “Without trust, there is no love” is one of his favorite responses. He has a way of making you question yourself and feeling guilty that you are accusing him of something like this. He tries to turn the tables on you and begin questioning your accusation. Someone is setting him up and trying to ruin our relationship. He even accused me of doing this or thinks “one of my other men” is doing this to him. He cries and pleads for you to believe him. He will get “to the bottom of this.”

So many RED FLAGS I ignored. I don't know what it was about this guy. I felt mesmerized and hypnotized by this guy. Please be careful of this one. He will reel you in, hook you and then destroy you. He has the capacity of getting you to fall in love with him – I don’t know how and I don’t understand it. I consider myself to be an intelligent person but I completely lost all of my brain cells with this guy. He preys upon our vulnerabilities and definitely creates a psychological profile from the information you discuss.

He will use different names, e-mail addresses and stories. The only thing which is consistent is the photos he displays. I still can’t figure this out. How does he have so many? PLEASE BE CAREFUL. He is charming but HE IS A SCAMMER and he is good at it. I am posting this on as many scammer sights as I can to get the word out. Don’t become another one of his victims. This is a redirect number. It makes him look likes in the Uk when actually he's in Nigeria.

Yes, phone number is UK... as mentioned in the story, he flew to UK for 2 days prior to going to Nigeria. Either Way.. TWAS LIES.... Don't know how these Nigerians get these phone numbers.

I was also scammed by this guy (in June and July of 2009) but his name was Maxwell Lucado and he used heart2hearts4.

Nigerian Scammer John Smith and Maxwell Lucado and all the other names he is using.
His location was either in Illinois and UK when he sent emails.... however as you can see the emails were sent from location of **** NIGERIA ****
