Ok, fair enough :D . Sorry if I hurt your feelings ... it wasn't my intention.

If you could, YouMustBeKiddingME, please, rather than using the Quote button in your replies, click the Reply button at the lower left. It will save the moderators having to trim up the posts later.

Words of great wisdom, I just spent 15 minutes to go through and fix them - Thanks DuckHunter :) - Ralph

Thanks, it's ok - it was just a moment; I'm free of it now. You know, because what you said was true. Man, you were right about that truth thing. Whew! :D

So, who among your Moderators has the experience of being hunted down by some pretty pissed off victims of 419 scams that accused them of being the source while contacting their mother and family?

Btw, it's some incredible irony that your adsense is cycling through, at times, advertising the Ashley Madison, "Life is Short Have an Affair," website. ;) (I wonder what percentage of site members have clicked it)
I know it's out of your control but I just thought I'd mention it.

Keep up the good work! You are actually providing a great service!

I doubt any of us has -- though we have spent much time and energy convincing victims not to do it. It must be quite an ordeal, and I can imagine how hard it would be to feel compassion toward the misguided victims who won't let go of their fantasy. I am truly sorry that you have to deal with it.

That's useless information without his email address. And if Spark is a free site, it's a waste of time getting their accounts closed. That just means they make new ones and we have to find them and post them all over.

That sure sucks, I feel sorry for you. But believe me, it can go both ways. Once on my dating sites we had a man who's pics were abused by scammers. One lady contacted him just to warn him about it: she didn't accuse him of anything or tried to hunt him. Only tell her story and warn. And you know what she got back from him? "Fat pig, look at yourself in the mirror!"

She cried so hard, she said even her scammer didn't hurt her as bad as the real guy did. After that I always tell ladies: DO NOT search for the real men on the pictures!! DO NOT try to contact them. You never know what you might get back. You might end up even more hurt.

This all boils down to ppl's manners, education and tact. There are bad rude stupid people everywhere: among victims, among pic owners, everywhere.

I wrote a poem for the woman on my site who was scammed. I have good manners but I soon discovered you can't cure sugar withdrawal with more sugar. You need hard reality, which as a romantic wasn't intuitive to me straight away. No good method for breaking this news will ever be concieved that's inclusive of everyone's needs.

Awww, that's so sweet, but yeah, can see how that would not have helped in the end.

As long as you treat the wounded souls who contact you with compassion, it is understandable that you must also be firm in your efforts to disconnect yourself from their fantasy.

None of us have, but we've dealt with others who have been in that situation, which is why we know what needs to be done when it happens. Trust me when I say you're not the first and you won't be the last, and these scammers don't care who they hurt or what damage they do in their quest for easy money.

Nothing lasts forever...maintain and love what you have at hand...
I am down to earth, energetic and lively. Fun to be with and easy to get along with.... I enjoy traveling, and i like nature... I enjoy being around the beach and walking hand in hand... i enjoy cooking too and reading good books when i have the time...
I would like to find someone to share life and happiness with. Someone fun to be around . I like to go out and have fun or just spend a quiet night in. I'm into sports, cooking and being with friends and family. I tend to have a few books that I am reading at one time. I like to laugh, so do you know any funny jokes? Bonus points for you. I would be looking for someone who enjoys the same things as I do. All kinds of movies are great. But for some reason the old classics have a lot more to offer.

I'm open minded and interested in new things and new ways of looking at the world. I'm a very honest person and I hate playing games. Am open Minded. I enjoy a lot of activities. I enjoy time at home as well. I like to cook, especially for my love one. Relaxing at home cooking, watching a good movie and enjoying good wine with someone special is sometimes the best remedy for a busy week..
I am looking for:

I think it’s not too hard for me to describe exactly what I'm looking for in a woman because there are so many that man find attractive it’s all depends on our nature. As for me I want my match to be attractive (to me), someone who takes care of herself and stays in decent shape. she needs to be smart, fun, open minded and non-judgmental. And smart doesn't mean lots of college degrees; I think common sense is important. She should like some of the activities I like and be open to trying some of the ones she hasn't done.. And, she should be willing to introduce me to the activities she likes. And it's okay for us to like different things. A relationship isn't about having to do everything together. And when you're with the right person, just about anything can be fun. I hope you can just be my dream.
