this threat has an add at meetic dating site, his e-mail is genruddock77@hotmail.com

He advertises in a long addy as being in IT/communication (scamming ) , without picture. Will quote.

He chatted my up on the site after sending me a flash. He asked about my family situation, my work, where I lived, then gave me his: one daughter, his wife had died, his passed away father was Belgian, his passed away mother UK, he was alone in the world but he still had a house in Belgium from his father, but could not reply where. Then suddenly he revealed he was soldier in Iraq. He said he planned after his return from Iraq to live in the house in Belgium - Belgium is where I live and if we got on we could live together there.
I did not confront him with the lie about his occupation on his add.

He sent quickly 3 pics on request by mail which I will add here.

I've looked up General Ruddock on Google and found one retired now, living in Pennsylvania with his wife well alive and kids and grandkids etc. Will add the pic and the full name of this General after the pics sent by the threat.

Received also a mail from this , very long, much cut and paste or very well known phrases by scams from Nigeria received earlier and mentionned here.
Will put this in the end, becomes boring, always the same, little variation...

So, just cross-checked with a mail received by Michael M Wilson (file Michal Wilson, Nigerian Scam), and that's where the cuts and pastes in this letter of whole paraphraphs come from...

So this leads us to an Internet café located in Nigeria, where the files are handed around...or whatever their technique. Maybe a database.

These guys make me really work...

I found the same picture, its him! Oh, dangerous guy, so he's from Ghana then. Yes, I thought he was dangerous, because he had a web-site link added to his icon on MSN and that seems very dangerous for the computer safety, my son told me, and I did not go on there.

Who knows, maybe the Army picture is something made-up in Photoshop with the Ruddock name pin...(?)

So all I know is I kick him out ASAP of my computer.

I had no clue, as no Army disguise in the topic Raymond Reeves. Scrolling down this file, of course, I recognize the guy and one same picture allright, the first one, the one with the bottle.

Suppose your admin will re-arrange, because it belongs there.

I'll note down in my Word-file the name of your file, and that's it then for me with this threat, huhh.

this scam sent me a diaporama of 3 pics in the same order as copied here.

1. Bottle,
2. same head in uniform with pin "Ruddock" (see it if you enlarge)
3. same guy sitting on a bench next to a funny statue.

What he has NOT sent, is the original picture from the REAL General Ruddock (retired) who lives with his wife in Pennsylvania according to his infosheet in Google. I copied it from there and pasted it in for comparison.

So I'm a bit puzzled and will try again.
As proof that I got the 3 pics from this threat I've put in my first topic-post a copy of the accompanying e-mail to the pictures, in which is mentionned (in french, as I'm in Belgium and maybe that is where the misunderstanding comes from), that the sender- genruddock77@hotmail.com is attaching 3 pictures in what they call here a Diaporama. That mail I pasted before pasting the 3 pictures.
So I got 3 pictures all right all sent together in one mail by the threat.

The first picture (with a bottle) has been taken out by your admin, because it already figured in one of the files before, the two others are still there, because they are new.

The last picture in my first original topicpost (4th one) I PUT ON by my own initiative and I mentionned in my topicpost that I'd googled it up and pasted it from there. It has been taken out by your admin with a remark that nothing of Google should be posted here, because it must correspond to your politics to avoid trouble with the REAL General who exists under the stolen name (Ruddock), which I had googled up. I had only pasted it here for comparison and proof that the two are not the same. I was not conscious that the danger of putting a picture out of another context, an original one, would be more troubble than benefit...

So now I believe the file is clean.

I have also been scammed by him. He contacted me by Singleparent.com. Claimed he was in Afghansitan and would
be coming home on December 23 ,2010. we communicated by email and yahoo messenger. Still trying to get over him. Would like to know if the pictures he sent were really him or someone else and if it is someone else. Does that
person know. Also he gave me an address in Queens Village, NY . Claims that was his house. Went to check it out
a couple of times to see who lives there. People never home. Would love to now if they are involved in the scam too.

Likely not. It was just an address he picked from somewhere online.
And if you researched the headers of (some of) his emails you could see by their originating where your scammer has been all the time (most likely, various internet cafes in Nigeria).

General Raymond Ruddock, mission of peace in Iraq. I met him on Meetic, in 5 days the third well-off, asking for marriage and ready to relocate American male. I'm on a wheelchair, naive but not stupid, and could deceive the first two (one copied and pasted parts of the same letters he had sent to me, and this is what I told him before he disappeared; the second was simply awfully in love just at the first contact and I told him that the girl of his dreams couldn't be me, then I disappeared).
The third is the gen. Raymond Ruddock (raymond_luv1@hotmail.com), that a after three chats writes a moving declaration of love. I still don't recognize the trick, and I kindly answer with a long letter explaining the differences between sympathy and love, EU and US philosophy and the need of knowing someone personally. So he said yesterday night that he wants to come to Italy and know me.
His personal history is moving: father dead, mom dead giving birth, one uncle that disappears when he's 22, then his wife dies and now he's in Iraq with his only daughter (10 yo) in a military college. The pictures are the ones that you can see here on the page. But last night I felt that somehow he was cheating: I smile a lot in all my pictures, but he speaks of sorrow on my face; he's a soldier but he's quite open about his mission, giving to an unknown girl a lot of information; he's only got this daughter, but he leaves her in a college and doesn't care if she' s happy or not (this was my question and he wouldn't answer). That's why today I googled his name and found this site: incredible!
My challenging idea would be to wait for him to ask for money or to show his hidden agenda, without telling him further info about me. I find this an exciting game...
But I read from you that I should simply disappear... Shouldn't I?

Well aparently Daniel Cottigham has struck again.
He contacted me on Lavalife, saying he was a 53 year old General in the US army stationed in Bagdad for the past 4 years. He is retiring in 2 months and looking for someone to settle down with. He sent me the same photos
he sent all of you. And this is where things didn't make any sense. If Jackie is 10 years old and he has been in Bagdad for the past for years, then any photos of being with his daughter, she would be 6 years old when the photos were taken. That photo of him holding his daughter, she is clearly older than 6 which would be impossible to take a photo of the two of them together if they are in separate counties.
Next, he tells me that he has to go out on patrol with his buddies at night. Generals don't patrol areas. Their enlisted "foot soldiers" go and do patrols. Generals give the orders.
His english wasn't bad, but very formal. His language skills clearly did not match his photo. There were too many comments on having a "blessed" day and that he is working on his spiritual side. There is a tip off right there. The word blessed alone tells you that something is up.
I did a google search on his name and I found this thank goodness. I have no money and made that clear at the beginning of the conversation.
