You would either be paying money for upfront fees (and one more fee and one more...).
A variant is that you would be receiving fake checks that you bring to your bank and the amount of which you would be asked to send by Western Union to the scammer. This way, knowing about this or not, one would become an accomplice, and the only one that would be traced by the law
Or they indeed pretend to send money into your account (by "flashing" it, you see it for a short time but it´s not there), plus the same as above (sending the equivalent by an anonymous and untraceable money transfer service like Western Union), with the same consequences as above.
If I were you, I would just block them now, and not explain anything and just move away.
