I was also contacted by Steven Harris on zoosk.com but it took me two weeks to realized it was a scam. I asked God for guidance because i was already falling for the guy in the picture and hoping it was real, but i had my doubts in my mind. But thank God I found this website, it has been very helpful... I just can't believe i have found the same pictures that organization has been sending me. I'm sure the poor guy is also a victim. I keep wondering how and where they might have taken those pictures. I'm sure the guy in the picture probably know by now his pictures are an online hit. His phone # is 720-446-6072 and his international line in Nigeria is 234-810-188-5113 his email is stevh79@yahoo.com, and I will post here some of the emails he has been sending me.
He takes and combines a lot of the words I used on my profile to make it look very personal and a match to me.

How are you doing and how is your weekend Going, Thanks so much for the message and for telling me more about you, I really enjoy your message and its a change from the other mails i have been getting from women on zoosk. I agree with what you have to say about living life everyday like its your last. I am so sorry to hear about your dad. To answer your question My mom is an African Residence, Shes British African and she moved back to Africa when my dad passed away i was 3 then so i spent most of my growing up years in Africa and that makes me have an accent. So i am a mixture of British, African and American. I am planning to be back to Denver as soon as my mom gets better. I will like to tell you more about me.. I consider myself to be very simple. I believe that women needs to be treated with respect and as a equal partner in a relationship, but all I seem to find is the ones that does not know how to respond to that or is entrusting to it. I feel like u should treat somebody with respect and like they are a person not a piece of meat or whatever. I am the type of person who wants somebody to feel wanted not just as a trophy. I am a very affectionate person and I love to cuddle, I like to show somebody how I feel not just telling them. I like to play sports just as much as I do watching them. Most of all i like to spend time with who I am with, and cuddle up and watch a movie. I am very relationship oriented and I believe life is too short to waste.. When I am in a relationship I am committed, honest, and loyal. I think that falling in love is always a good thing, even if it doesn't work out. There is always something to learn from being with someone, and happy times and memories should be cherished. Friendship comes first for me. That is not to say I never get hurt because I do. I have been burnt so bad. My last relationship ended on a very sad note for me but I do not believe in regrets. I tell you this because I cannot predict the future. For some people a relationship has to be all or nothing....I don't feel that way.

It is obvious that I don't know how to keep a good woman since I am 39 and never married, but I never in the past nor do I intend to intentionally hurt someone by cheating, mistreating, or abusing them. Ok, for my questions to you. What are some of your goals, hopes and dreams? I have something to share with you, its my theory on relationships. I have learn more about relationship..You see,I feel there are five very basic but essential elements of a relationship.They are also to a degree sequential. First is honesty and then respect.They go hand in hand and without them any type of relationship; business, personal, family, whatever, is doomed for failure.Anyone who is dishonest,can not be respected. Without showing respect, it is unlikely to be treated with honesty.Those are fundamental to trust which like respect is earned because honesty was first and was given.When trust is built and respect is earned and they are given and shared, then love will grow.When you love and trust where giving is more important than receiving then commitment becomes a part of the relationship.At that point, you promise and believe it will be forever.You can do this because you love and trust the other person and are committed to making a life to share together..This may sound silly to you,I don't know.But I really do believe it with all my heart and soul.


Now that I have danced all over the the floor,I will try to be more specific. First, no one is perfect, especially me.I know this though, when the right person or person that seems right comes into your life you will know it. A connection happens and you just can't, or won't let go of them. Your whole life changes and all of the emptiness begins to fill up. It starts with the first touch, the first time you look into each other's eyes, the very first time for everything becomes a moment to remember. Please do not sent ANY MONEY TO SOMEONE THAT WRITES SO BEAUTIFUL. THOSE EMAILS ARE USUALLY WRITTEN AFTER A YEAR OR YEARS INTO A RELATIONSHIP. THE ROMANCE SCAMMERS ORGANIZATION MAIN FOCUS IS TO CLOSE THE DEAL IN 3 WEEKS MAX. THIS IS A BUSINESS TO THEM, SO BE CAREFUL DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY TO ANY JERK. REAL men usually fall in love when they have to do something special for her. So if you're dating make him work for your love, make him want you desperately...

The actual person in the pictures may or may not know that his pictures have been stolen and used by scammers, either way there is little we can do about that except for making it known that scammers have stolen his pictures and that the actual person in the pictures is not a scammer.

Thank goodness for Google and this website! This scammer has contacted me back in September. He had profile on Perfect Match and removed it soon after we started communicating. He said that his name is Ashley and he lives in Spring TX and that he lost his wife to a fatal car accident and that he has a daughter named Rhonda; he shared some pictures with me. He gave his phone number right away with Houston area code, which looked pretty legitimate. We communicated through Yahoo Messenger; his ID: elo_jah.
Here are some quotes from him:

I was recently contacted by this individual and he is now going under the name of James Mallary from Denver Colorado, but same story about taking care of mother in Africa. I had my doubts from his first email, but after 5 emails, some of his responses didn't make sense or contradicted himself. When I would ask him to clarify, he would not respond. Thank God I am a very analytical person and because of past experience do not trust easily, so this individual didn't even get the chance to ask me to send him money. I am posting the emails below and also the pictures he sent me.

How are you doing thanks so much for the response i am so happy to hear from you again and thanks a lot for the concern about my mom and Dad. My moms name is Susan and i was 3 when my dad passed away. It was really hard growing up as a kid without my dad but my mom was a very strong woman and she took really good care of me as a widowed mom thats why i have to be there for her now that she needs me most.

I am glad you like everything i have to tell you about my self and i really enjoy everything you have to tell me too about yourself. Yes i know we are not getting any younger and our age is ticking away thats why we have to make the right decision this time on our relationships. My daughters mom is now in Hawaii and shes gotten married to another man. I want you to know that i dont have anything against dating someone from different ethnicity cause i have a mixed ethnicity too. I will like to tell you a little bit more about my self. I consider myself to be very simple. I like to play sports just as much as I do watching them. Most of all i like to spend time with who I am with, and cuddle up and watch a movie. It is my opinion that we all want the same thing in regards to a partner, and that most of us either do not know how or is scared to and sabotage themselves from getting it. Ok, I like the outdoors, but I don't care about hunting or fishing, well I will fish with an un-baited hook if it means I will get to spend some time with someone I care about.
There are a lot of things I like doing as in dancing, cooking, camping, etc.... My ultimate goal and what I think would make me happy is to get back on my feet and have a woman by my side that I love and loves me.
I am very relationship oriented and I believe life is too short to waste.. When I am in a relationship I am committed, honest, and loyal. I think that falling in love is always a good thing, even if it doesn't work out. There is always something to learn from being with someone, and happy times and memories should be cherished. Friendship comes first for me. That is not to say I never get hurt because I do. I have been burnt so bad. My last relationship ended on a very sad note for me but I do not believe in regrets. I am so glad to read all you have to tell me about you, it gives me alot to learn about you. To answer your questions. My last relationship lasted for 6 years and she is the mother of my daughter. I have something i will like to share with you. Its my theory on relationships.

I have learn more about relationship..You see,I feel there are five very basic but essential elements of a relationship.They are also to a degree sequential. First is honesty and then respect.They go hand in hand and without them any type of relationship; business, personal, family, whatever, is doomed for failure.Anyone who is dishonest,can not be respected. Without showing respect, it is unlikely to be treated with honesty.Those are fundamental to trust which like respect is earned because honesty was first and was given.When trust is built and respect is earned and they are given and shared, then love will grow.When you love and trust where giving is more important than receiving then commitment becomes a part of the relationship.At that point, you promise and believe it will be forever.You can do this because you love and trust the other person and are committed to making a life to share together..This may sound silly to you,I don't know.But I really do believe it with all my heart and soul.

Now that I have danced all over the the floor,I will try to be more specific. First, no one is perfect, especially me.I know this though, when the right person or person that seems right comes into your life you will know it. A connection happens and you just can't, or won't let go of them. Your whole life changes and all of the emptiness begins to fill up. It starts with the first touch, the first time you look into each other's eyes, the very first time for everything becomes a moment to remember. I, too, have fallen victim to the wonderful good looks of one "James Mallary". Email jamesmallary@yahoo.com. Thank God that is has only been 4 days. I have always heard if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Well this is the truth now. I have looked at all the pics posted as well as all the messages. They are all identical to the few emails I received.

I was first contacted via Zoosk.com. I can't remember the user name, but it doesn't really matter it is gone now. It was something like DivineUnion, with some numbers but can't really remember. When I was first contacted his profile said he lived only about 30 miles from me. I thought why not? So we began talking. To me it was nothing out of the ordinary. Then I realized in a few texts he started referring to me as "Baby". He is one smooth talker.

The James Mallary I started talking to is 39, a single father to a daughter named Jessica. He is currently in Africa taking care of his sick mother. He told me the mother of his child lives in Hawaii. And that he has full custody of her and can go anywhere he wanted to go. He informed me he spoke to his mother about me and she one day wanted to meet me. He has not asked me for money yet. He told me this morning he lived in Denver, Co. And like I said his profile said he lived only about 30 miles from me. That is when I decided to investigate. When I couldn't find him on Facebook, or through Google. I knew something was off. I eventually found him on this website. I just wanted to let everyone know he is still going strong. If there is anyway to stop I hope it is soon, before someone else falls for him like I could have. This guy is now going by Dominic Preston. I found him on OK Cupid. His username is carndmoninic. He sent me an email similar to the others, claiming that his wife died of cancer, and that he had to take his 5 year old daughter Jasmine to South Africa so that his mother could help take care of her. After about a month of chatting, he said that he wanted to see me, but that I would need to send money toward the ticket. I told him absolutely not, and he became very insistent that all he wanted was a small sacrifice from me to show him how much I care. He then sent me the next email, which was a love letter that he supposedly wrote on Valentine's day. I found the exact same letter when I google searched the first line (There is so much I want to tell you, a lot has been running through my head lately....), but he conveniently put my daughter's and my name into the letter. I actually talked to the guy twice on the phone. He gave me this number: 011-277-3162-1842. We spend hours chatting on yahoo, and he used this id: prestondominic. He definitely sounded like a great guy, but fortunately I was skeptical from the beginning, and found out the truth about this scammer. Thanks to everyone else who has posted about him!
