This past summer, I ran into a few scammers. Sorry I have not posted about them sooner. This fellow, Peter Holifield, claims to be a caucasian guy from Ontario, Canada working as an accounting clerk for a company that I could not find any evidence of existing. He provided me with a picture, and advised me that he was retiring early and going on a trip....and would I like to come with him? I told him I couldn't afford to go, but if he would pay for me I would go. He said that he would, but I would need to buy him a laptop and a camera. LOL! I refused and wished him a good trip. He said he was first going to GHANA to inquire about a children's charity that he had invested in. He contacted me from Ghana and attempted to scam money on the pretext of donating money to the charity. The charity does exist but there is no project listed in Ghana. I refused. Then the story got better. He said he put his cash and flight tickets into his briefcase on the way to the children's home and he left it in the cab. Now he is "stuck" in Ghana and needs money to get home. I refuse. Eventually he tells me that he is a black man from Ghana and sends me his picture, telling me that he has fallen in love with me. I tell him to go away. He tries once more to contact me and I have not heard from him since.
