I downloaded the thunderbird and it said to check , and there was instructions so that i want I did and that is what came up and yes I would like to know

Sent him email out of the blue, he doesn't even care who I am and where I come from. Within 3 minutes, response (and it landed in my spam folder, too = means he is mass-mailing women):

the best way to check if somebody is a scammer is to check IP address and make sure he is located where he claims to be located.

thank you for helping me, I thought things were a little off for a few months now, he kept asking for money saying he was starving. And he kept saying cos instead of because and he would ask me every once in while like it was rehearse and how my night was. I did send him money thinking I really was talking to him only to find out it was not him at all. I am glad I did not send him alot of money, thank god for that. I think I will look for someone closer to home. I do have one photo posted with the messages I sent you.

Betsy dear, you've been in online communication for 8 months and have not met yet. It doesn't sound good. Is he telling you he loves you? Does he tell you his web cam is broken, or only come on cam for a few short minutes and doesn't match what he's saying or do what you ask him to do? Has he asked you for money or sent you checks to cash? Does he call at odd hours of the night? Is he conveniently online when you are? Is he currently in a foreign country? Does he say he's going to come be with you soon? Does he speak with an accent?

If you can answer yes to any of these questions, he's likely a scammer. And to answer your question, Yes scammers give out their phone numbers all the time. Many of them have internet phones that can make it look like they are anywhere else other than where they really are.

Please give us his name and email address and we can check out more for you. Add his picture as well. We will not post him as a scammer unless we have proof that he is. If he is not, his information you post will be removed.

no I do not know what he really looks like, this is the photo he sent me, yes I posted this photo, but I thought it only went to you. This is the only photo I have and I have another one from Stevejones4real@hotmail.com but I think you may have seen that one because it says he lives in Edenburgh, Scotland, not sure how to spell Edenburgh he used both of these emails

thanks it is a shame how some people have their pic stolen like this and probably don't know about it. I am glad I found out now instead of later. LIfe goes on and I know now what kind of signs to look for and try to meet someone much closer to home..
