I did respond to an email from my Android and there is a way for trackers to trace your phone via the header on the email sent from the phone so NEVER DO IT. It is not my usual phone and knew I was turning it off this week so another little experiment that led to insight on the high tech ways these scammers are operating these days...

Here it is. I deleted my own personal ID info as I have been told that some of these guys will come looking for you and send threats if they find out you have turned them in. I will happily meet them at the door w/ a Baretta....They have already tried hacking into my blog page...just another thought here as well. If you own a domain, register it under a PO box or corporate address. It is easy to find someone's home info on WHOIS.com...these guys are monitoring these forums as well...any thoughts to making the forums private? I set my accounts to block him after sending a message I knew he would try to. I also found out someone made an an attempt to delete my yahoo account late last night...very interesting...make sure if they send you a link to IM them (if you choose to take it that far) that you are signing into a genuine Yahoo account not a fake alias....that is another way they can grab your password info and do according to detectives in my area.

I also encountered "Richard Walsh" on plenty of fish.com. He was going by cutedad13 but is no longer on the site. He claimed to be 41, Caucasian with a master's degree, from Raleigh, NC, has a daughter (full time custody) and a dog (chao chao). I had my suspicions as he seemed too good to be true and there were some things that didn't add up here and there. I knew for sure that he was a scammer when he asked me to give him a loan for $13k yesterday (or he said as much as I could and assured me it was a loan). Just to play along I asked where I should send the money and he said to his agent in China through Western Union. He started out using the email address rich27614@yahoo.com. I initially got suspicious when he asked me to switch to rich2604@yahoo.com. We have been texting mostly and the number he uses is 919-709-7587. He claims to be in Aberdeen Scotland right now working on an oil spill on behalf of Chevron. For some reason he sent me the contract which was for $1.6M but handwritten and 1 page. He is claiming that they only gave him 10% of the contract cost to cover expenses and he has had to take out a loan from his mom (in the UK where his daughter Michelle (14) is staying) and he bff (yep, he wrote bff) gave him a loan as well. His grammar is awful and I suspected he either wasn't very educated or English was not is first language... but as he said he was born in Greece and spent most of his time in the UK, not speaking English well seemed odd. He sent 1 picture that is different from the others already posted. He comes off as a very, polite and genuine. He throws in references to praying as well...

A little more about me, I am from Raleigh NC, I've been divorced for five years, its a sad story and i cant talk about it for now... to be honest, do you really want to marry someone like him after all the promises he had said none of them ever had happen? i was one of who gotten scammed. total grand of money he had stolen from me is $20,000.00 now i have to pay those i had borrowed from and not only this, i already had lost my job...he still asked for more.
he later told me this wild goose story about his mom has a high blood pressure and she was on a house arrest and everyday needed to report to the police station. according to the international interpol uk there is no such thing of a house arrest because the british queen had dropped this issue century ago. there is a curfew but no such thing of any house arrest unless they actually done a murder crime. texaco had called me personnelly and had informed me there is no way of retrieving the money once its wired to any western union or money gram store.

this is what i had learn...he only needed your information, mctn number and name of person who had send it and amount. they can use a fake id to retrieve the number even if the name on the paper says another. its like free money without the hard work. as long they have those simple information our money becomes theirs as if they had worked so hard to earn...truth is its easy money for him. while we sweat for it over the years.

he sure has a very strange attitude when no money is being sent as he wished. i didnt know in the same time he also tricking another for more money. my story is almost similar to yours except. its a awarded contract deal of 3.6 million. i didnt want the money he was thinking i needed. all i wanted was him and for fill all the promises he had told me...that didnt happen because right after his contract deal at scotland aberedeen. he stayed with his mom name Angelina O'brien. he staying for 2 weeks to visit his mom before he heads home. i believed him because i had recently lost my parents in an accident. the combination of grief for my parents and their situation he used my emotion to get whatever he wanted from me. now instead of owning my own company, i am working for someone else. i lost everything just for love.

chevron from UK is called texaco uk. they had informed me that his name is reported to the interpol international police and the fbi where i am had logged his name on the most wanted list of romance scam.
