This scammer who is known as Billy_001 who is using the e-mail: billy_anderson001@yahoo.com is also going by lonelyman4smooch and his name is derik banker met him through Match.com and he says he lives in Baltimore Maryland. Didn't talk long because I sensed his scam right away looked him up here on romance scam and seen his picture and relaized he was a fake also. Well sometimes they find women that are smarter than the average bear. He probably has made his rounds also hope nobody got drawn in by him.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? I winked at him on match.com and he removed his profile as soon as we began talking. Things are not quite making sense and I found this website. Says he French, just went to Australia about a construction contract..widower, one daughter living with her grandmother in the UK...says he lives in Alpharetta, GA yet is French. Hmmm my intuition is telling me to check this out. If anyone knows anything I'd love to hear back from you.

Hi..I just did some more searching and found www.dotsilver.com which lists some proven scammers and lo and behold the photo of the silver haired man in the suit is one used on an IM 2 days ago by Ben Brandon..who has been talking to me. I am so upset. He uses the name (to me) of tipsymanb@yahoo.com and on the IM his e-mail shows cmnny@hotmail.com. He is supposed to talk to me tonight so I'll see what he says. He already asked me for my matchl.com password which I flatly refused to give hiim. Has anyone had any dealings with this person? I'd really appreciate it.

that is all too true with a lot of the singles sites. there have been many times that i've been winked at or i've been the one doing the winking. i wouldn't give them my private email or im right away...you have to see where things go when you're talking to someone.

if you meet someone on a single's site and they delete their profile immediately they may be doing that to protect their name and hide their pic as well. you may think that their profile is deleted but they may have it hidden as well.

don't doubt everyone all of the time, only some of the time. i personally know people from other coutries and they've moved to the usa. some men in construction also do travel to other states, some even travel to other countries to get a job started off. how i know that is because i used to work for general contractors that used to send a few of their men over to another country. i also personally know of some missionaries that travel world wide. one partner was born and raised in nigeria, she later moved to the uk while her husband was born and raised stateside. they met when he went to the uk to visit with some friends....later they got married, had children, and work with the less fortunate in other countries as missionaries.

be careful with who you do talk to. don't be in such a rush to give out personal information.

when in doubt.....throw them out!

by checking out their ip numbers and running them it would give you the satisfaction and peace of mind that you are not one of the many women scared by scammers.

Hi..I took some time during lunch and started scrolling through the photos of white male scammers and found the photos of the male model Sergio from models.com. These are the EXACT photos sent to me by "Ben Brandon" a.k.a. tipsyman12 from match.com. (He has hidden his profile.) On his IM to me he also uses cmjny@hotmail.com. And also has an e-mail address of tipsymanb@yahoo.com. He is being VERY careful to not make any sort of offer to me yet as he doesn't want to e-mail anything to me...I have been pressuring him for a photo of him with his daughter and now I see why he doesn't have one! I wonder if it's the same guy as listed on the link I clicked?
