and she says shes workin with the usaid she had 10 pair of mens old navy shoes sent to my address size 11 and a sony escurrion cell phone and a check for 4000 dollars and she wants me to send all over to her i did send the cell phone she told me to sell the shoes and i cashed the check and she wants 3000 sent to her agent and 700 sent to her and she told me to keep 300 then i found this site and asked her about it and thats where i got an IM from this guy claiming to be an FBI and wanted to know why i didnt love her anymore and then shortly after i got an email that said ********* FBI NOTIFICATION******* and it went on about how i had 48 hours to send the money or go to jail. i really need someones help on this one and thanks to all

Am I reading this right? A guy claiming to be from the FBI sent you an IM wanting to know why you didn't love "her" anymore? Maybe I can get MI5 to ask my wife why she didn't give me a kiss this morning when I left the house. Check the headers on the email. I'll bet a pound to a penny they share the same (or at least an uncannily similar) IP address as the "girl"

total scam.
the shoes and phone were paid for with stolen credit cards.
the fbi man is also your scammer.
you can try to contact the store these items were shipped from and maybe return them.
everybody!
don't accept pacages for/from people you meet on the internet!

you're asking for trouble!

The Check you cashed is most likely a forgery or stolen. You need to get the money back to where you cashed it or the "FBI " may well be after you then.

the scam artist is using the yahoo name "joy_tracy4realy" and saying that she is 28 year old in Lagos Nigeria. She took me for about 250, and is now wanting 1500 for a visa to come to the US and marry me. I am so pissed off that I let myself get taken like this. I knew it was odd, but I was weak and willing to believe. Now I'm pissed and angery, but I'll get over it. She is a member of the Yoruba tribe, but other than that I'm not certain what was true or not.

Typical chat, avoids answering direct specific questions and attempts to move conversation by asking personal questions of you. (Will even use an online translator site to try to answer in Spanish but her grammatical construction gives her away when you ask for verbatim translation into English.

We started chatting she said she originally from England but left when she was a little girl, once her dad died. She now lives in Nigeria. She sent me the usual photos of that woman "Christina". I got her back up because I said she looked familiar. (Not realising that I have seen her profile on friendsreuniteddating. After some more communication she said she wants to see me can I meet her in London. When I asked her which part, she got defensive and said Central London. She said she would be over in a couple weeks time. She then said she really wants to come soon to see me but she does not have the money for the bta tax which is payable to Nigerian Immigration to leave the country.

I told her that I don't have that kind of money lying around but will try to get it for her. I have her current address where she meant to be living. Her real mobile number and a fake British Passport.

What do I do now? I have not and will not hand over any money.

Simple....delete 'her', put on ignore, report her to initial site (rarely does any good)

Now, secondly you can play 'her' for awhile....make up excuses, money is in 'special' account you need 14 days, requires second signature to withdraw etc.

But, unless you have the time and need the entertainment....terminate 'her' and post the info
