Hi everyone,
I just recently found out that I have been scammed!
A guy named "James Scott" introduced himself to me on Myspace and he gave me the same crap as he gave many of us.
He is 42 years old, is working as a building contractor in Nigeria (on a bridge this time). Has a 6 year old son named Donald and is living in the UK, Liverpool. Ofcourse the mother of his child no longer lives, parents are dead etc.
I was curious though and it didn't take long before we went chatting.
He robbed me from a small amount of money by a Union Money Transfer (Yeah, I know! How stupid can one be??)
Soon after we started talking I discovered all kind of strange things about his story's, and the guy in the picture was simply to good to be true.
He used the pictures of James Bill from Hawai and only this afternoon I found out who this person is for real. Poor James Bill, being so abused by these awfull scammers!
Anyway, last night, during a long chat I went beserk when he dared to ask for some money again (how should he pay his bills from the hotel right?)
I threw all of it in his face and he had nothing to say but that I broke his heart and that he did not want to talk about it right now.
So in the end he told me it was over... but I am not really sure of that.
He send me another mail this morning and is waiting for me to come online for the second time today...
Im not sure how and if I am going to react. The only thing that is quiet a revelation is that the person I got to know is not the same as the real James Bill.
So, here are the accounts i got from him...

MSN account: name Max Anderson
account: maxsquish@hotmail.com
The other "person" involved in this story is Peter Mills. Who was introduced to me as the doctor, treating a worker that had been injured, because he was behind the truck when James ordered it to drop wood.
I sent money to his home adress in Ikeja. Here it is:

Hey Jana and Marissa,
First thanks for your replies. It is good to know that I am not the only one who got fooled by a scammer. I had never heard of it before, so I was an easy victim at first.
Like you suggested, I also think that "James Scott" or whatever name he uses is a "beginner". I am still talking to him, because he has been stupid enough to sent me checks. (Don't really know what to do with them, but as soon as they arrive I will figure that out I guess).
My James is too hasty, too eager and sooooooo arrogant. He really thinks he has me fooled. When I showed a picture of James-Bill that he had not send me he didn't even see that and when I asked wether it was taken on a vacation, because the environment looked so "tropical" he answerd without a doubt that it was taken in the garden of is house in Liverpool!
Meanwhile I am having fun, because, just like you Jana, I am using his tricks and keep him talking to me, instead of another innocent victim.
For now James will wait till Friday I guess before he starts talking to me again, because at that day the checks will arrive. I really am a pain in the ass to this poor man! Why won't I sent money? Why not? Well why should I, I ask you?
If anyone has a suggestion about the checks than please tell me. I want to get rid of this guy, but not before I have some "evidence" at hand to scare him off.
Hope that we can nail these guys, who deliberately hurt other people and steal their money.
Marissa, if it is any help, than please tell me, I also have some IP adresses in my mailbox from my scammer.

The pictures of James Bill and Mike from Focushawaii are the most popular among Nigerian scammers. Probably, half of Nigeria is using them!
All these scammers out there with pictures of James Bill are not the same person. They are different scammers, some more "professional", some more "amateur", but I think they are not even connected with each other.
Though I must say that the most slick scammers don't use Focushawaii pictures anymore, as many people already recognize them. Only scammers-"beginners" still stick with old good Focushawaii.
You may also post his IPs.

he just contacted me on cupidvibes and yahoo messenger. used the name jo_loop7u on messenger. I checked this site while i had him online and told him what I discoved. he got very mad and said"

This photo of Terry Wicker is being used by a man posing as another on your site by the name of Steve Reid. He is now using the email address starware365@yahoo.com and starware365@qmail.com and going by the name of Steve or Steven Thompson. Speaks with an italian accent. Wanted me to ship packages purchased with stolen credit card numbers to him in Nigeria.

I don't regocnize the number of the cellphone, but I have two others with wich James called me. I suppose these guys will have loads of cellphone numbers, just like they have loads of ID's on Yahoo and Hotmail.
So here are the cellphone numbers:

hi there u all, i was just browsing around tagged.com, this guy on his profile is claiming his from Toronto, Ontario,Canada and 36 yrs old. His username on there right now is Thomasj, he has only one name on his friends list, maybe an accomplice his name is ray-barry122.
First of all i fell for this guy when i first started talking to him, he tried getting me to looking for a house to buy, he wanted me to open up an account, where he can send the money into , but there was some kind of user fee, which he wanted me to pay, maybe he was just using that plus saying he wanted marriage too. The site i met him on was www.me.com At that time his name was Wilson Smith, he had a yahoo id, i forgot it though.

I have this guy so mad at me he could spit nails! LMAO! Think I care? Noooo! He emailed me a couple of days ago on tagged and I knew he was a scammer. I wasn't in the mood to play goose chase this time. I put a ugly cartoon with rats fighting and wrote a nasty message under it. Here are the messages I got yesterday and today:

This guy has 17 profile posted in www.face-pic.cam I only had him on my buddy list but have sinces delete him off their.
I have not spoken with him sinces I deleted him off and dont want nothing further to do with him. I think you realise I am awake up to his scamms and he certainly has been mr smoothy with us ladies. I found 8 other males id register in this site in last 48hours so keep watching and see if anyone know them too.

Well now he is on BBPeoplemeet as nelsonjamesCool. He is a new member says he lives in Pittsford N.Y. I have had no contact with him yet but I will be reporting him to the site but expect nothing from them. I live a short distance from that town so I know he will fail his geography test.
