He was bold enough to put it in the profile. Said he wanted to go into business with his "match."

Hi Findthetruth.

You are right, when the scammers feels his odds of getting you to send money are good enough to risk losing you he will try his money request.

There are many variables that will decide how long including;

How desperate for cash the scammer is
If his intended victim's replies are loving enough
The scammer's usual script and how much of it is left
Where the scammer is from.
How much money the scammer thinks his victim has.

The scammer will asseses his odds just as a punter checks the form guide before placing a bet and if he believes his chances are good he will try it on.

Has your scammer sent you to any websites, it may have been fake.

That being said as soon as they realise that you are not sending money they will dump you.

My current lotto lad seems to be very eager and desperate. He was very quick with emails on the first day and even took my characters harshness without complaint. My character basically made demands on him and he did not seem to argue with him. The lad did act as though he were going to drop my character, but my character easily got him back into his hand. So it was within the first day they began to negotiate money.
