Spark own Jdate. Here is review of them form jate on Facebbok
Advocates of JDate note the ability to meet a wider circle of prospects, and the service maintains an archive of subscribers who have met and married.[3] Detractors complain of false descriptions and outdated photos, ignored messages, disappointing person-to-person encounters, the site's recirculation of old profiles that in some cases have not been active for several years, and negative results with customer support. A persistent complaint is that JDate has higher fees than other Spark Networks services.[4] Another complaint is that users have no way of knowing whether their sent emails will be read because only paying members are able to read sent emails.citation needed Although online reviews of JDate cite many of the advantages and frustrations common to many online dating sites, The Better Business Bureau of the Southland, Inc., found Spark Networks services (including JDate) had an unusually high rate of complaints, due in part to "deceptive sales practices, unauthorized credit card charges, and difficulty cancelling services"[5], etc. As of March 22, 2008, the ratings assigned by The Better Business Bureau of the Southland, Inc., to dating sites in the Los Angeles area included an "F" for Spark Networks services (including JDate).[5]
Scammers prefer sites which are more specific... i.e. in all probabilty you will be getting a Jew on jdate so they can research basics to fool you and if 6you are unaware you assume that the person who contacts you is 'like you' so you feel less wary.
Also hold true of a lot of other sites designed for specific groups of people...singlesmingle etc...even sites for older people as the older you are often the money asests you have and possibly the less suspicious you will be .
Jdate do take down profiles they find are suspicious but do not seem to be very concerned or particularly fast. Do not block certain IP addresses
