How romance scammers live and work

Postby FrumpyBB » Tue Jun 24, 2014 8:04 am

Introduction:
This short topic is made for casual readers who might appreciate a little info on what scammers are in "short story form". Everything following now is based on the actual scammers´(= the fake profile registrants and massmail message writers and "babe" chatters) real life details found on their Badoos and Facebooks; every now and then we´ve been posting something like this on the RS Facebook page, from which I am plainly recompiling this.
Many scammers are just twens, often students, many are married, yet have real life girlfriends sitting next to them while they pretend to be "in Afghanistan" on the internet asking their victims for "money for leave", and worse. You see their friends, their surroundings, their campus, gym and other petty and trifle details of typical middle-class big city life, which is almost all scammers´ socioeconomic background. Posing as white males and military is simply a well-established and well-respected and, by now, organized money income source. Internet fraud as a socially accepted widespread "job" with no feelings of doing anything wrong in defrauding well-meaning people, overseas and nearby. The gained goods from scamming, such as piles of freshly received dollar bills, "bling", watches, cars, phones and tablets are so proudly displayed in almost every photo that the resulting monotony is almost ridiculous to watch.

Please note this topic is locked simply because each scam has an already existing and ongoing discussion topic on this board, which is linked to from each post so please add info you might have received from scammers right into the resulting topics. Thank you.
Please try your best to block ALL your scammer´s still incoming messages and calls!

Wande Sanka from Lagos, Nigeria, is again up to no good. As you can see, his ugly green room wall has space for more than just one TV set and for more than just this modest set of external speakers. Not a problem for him. He just grabs pictures of some irrelvant and unknown handsome male from the internet, registers plenty of fake profiles on Datehookup and yes, Facebook, with them and just chats up ANY women between 40 - 60 who he can find there (while the TV is running, I figure).
Just ONE payment will bring bigger boxes.
And many of the past have paid this TV.

The internet makes easy business for the likes of him

Nobody can say that Shatta Kofi Wabuley from Ghana has no plans in life.

When not working on his career as a professional soccer player to be, he uses Facebook and several other dating sites and chats up MEN in his disguises as several porn models (Janessa Brazil, Nathalie Sparks).

Look how young he is

Now I wonder, who did he learn scamming from?

From his peers who have already "succeeded" in scamming? Or bosses (the "big men" with bling and fast cars) who employ him for format bombing (=massmailing potential internet scam victims)?

What a weird world.

"[09:45:02] anthony westman: you know i am now in Nigeria for the search of the girls kidnapped by boko haram terorists group, did you read the news"

Here we have a Nigerian scammer pretending to be military.
His format is especially disgusting, since he pretends to be a military man searching the desert for the 200 girls that were kidnapped in Nigerian during the Boko Haram terrorist attacks.
So, this Nigerian male scammer from Lagos makes monetary use of this.

Don´t really know what to comment on that....

Lance, 20, from Nigeria, is known to have the best ideas how to scam more people than ever before, during a good workout.
While pumping, he thinks over his "my wife died 10 years ago" storyline that has been working so well with his white male fake profiles on Matchdoctor, and decides to be more adventorous in future.
He needs a new tagline to chat up people. At night he goes to Facebook and grabs pictures of another white man, whom he doesn´t know, to impersonate, registers profiles as him, and now claims to study at Mitchell Cosmetology College. Here he is pretending to be a 39 y o white male and he mails every woman who has accepted his massmailed friend requests.
After all, they finance his way of life, of lying and stealing and scamming!

This 37 y o man from Edo State, Nigeria runs a string of successful lotto scams on various social sites, pretending to be a white male named Chelsea looking for someone to love, after which he "reveals" your "winnings". Known as Nigerian lotto scam. Pictures used are stolen from a real British lottery winner, whom he impersonates on the internet.

Do not automatically assume it is always African men scamming you Scamming is so widespread in certain parts of our globe that "normal-looking" young women try their hands at this successful national sport, too
She is from Lagos, Nigeria, and pretends to be "Tony" from the USA, "in Afghanistan for peace keeping"! (=typical Nigerian military scam format)

A US victim has lost over $9000 to this Nigerian

Why does he scam, you ask, pretending to be a white male?

He says he is developing a app for and needs the money to get sponsors and the investments required.

Ptui!

Muscles count!
Working out during the day to be fit at night, for impersonating a number of people (mostly female, interestingly) on several social networking sites like Myspace, Confirio et al.
Rauf Osman from Accra, Ghana is a busy bee at whatever he does

Speculation on one average Nigerian scammer´s motive:
http://www.romancescam.com/forum/viewto ... 47#p382445" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
1. visa begging as "Frank Nelson" for his way up North (or West, or East). Maybe France is his country-I-want-to-marry-into destination since he already pretends to be there.
2. female scam format as some illiterate "Cythain Willians" crap on facebook, for some extra cash

Some more insights into an African love scammer´s private life... plenty of shots of him in malls, living in what looks like a French banlieue, and him playing football in an organized team with bus transfers! But after sundown he pretends to be a female on Badoo asking men for money on a massmail basis. So, I wonder if his teammates know of his sources of income...
