Western Union ... new policies ... large settlement due to fraudulent transactions

Postby Tangerine22 » Thu Jan 19, 2017 8:06 pm

Thought I'd post this information that just came out via the FTC site that deals with scams, specifically romance scams. Hopefully some people who sent money to the nigerian sociopaths will see some of their money back.

Also...there's a comment section on the FTC site ... a lot of the scammers names from that site are also on romancescam.com

Here's the link:

Some day soon I'll post my story to the forums here. I'm so glad for this site...it's helped me greatly...thx!!

Thank you for the info :)

A good summary post from the FTC website is also this:

Western Union Admits Anti-Money Laundering Violations and Settles Consumer Fraud Charges, Forfeits $586 Million in Settlement with FTC and Justice Department

Please try your best to block ALL your scammer´s still incoming messages and calls!

What is all this? => The FAQ

The scammers vs. Why is "he" still doing it?

Why is alerting the man in the pictures DANGEROUS?

Please click why confronting my scammer is terribly wrong :)
